Self Isolate in the Byron Hinterland

self isolate at Byron Hinterland

During these unprecedented times, we’re all told to ‘social distance’ ourselves.  Well if you’re looking to do that in a beautiful setting, try the Byron Bay hinterland.  You’ll find stunning scenery, space and fresh air.

Mount Warning Caldera

There’s lots to see and do without coming into too close a contact with others. Mount Warning rises out of the hinterland and from the top you’ll be the first to see the sun rise. See more about Mt. Warning here.

Minyon Falls

Minyon Falls

The Byron hinterland is home to World-Heritage listed National Parks and rainforests. Just go for a drive and enjoy the passing scenery or take a walk along many designated walking routes. Minyon Falls is a great place to see the regions’ biggest waterfall and you’ll also be treated to stunning panoramic views while you’re there. The local Kookaburras tend to come to say hello to visitors too.

Pop to the coast from the hinterland, you’ll be spoilt for choice with beaches with plenty of space – though if you’re trying to avoid others, give Byron Bay a miss.
