Byron Bay Craft Beer Festival

Grab your ticket and join them at the 2019 Byron Bay Beer Festival, where you can sample a line-up of 20 plus of the finest breweries, showcasing 80 plus craft beers, ciders and thirst-quenchers. And don’t forget the local food trucks that will be serving up the goods and live entertainment from local talent. Hot on the heels of the success of the 2018 festival, they have once more teamed up with the incredible team at The Sun Bistro to bring their beer-friendly and family-friendly festival to Byron Bay! This year they have more space to play with – which means more breweries, food trucks and entertainment to create an even better festival for 2019!

Ocean Swim Classic

The 2019 Byron Bay Property Sales Ocean Swim Classic will be held on Sunday 5th May 2019. This is our 32nd Classic and our 12th Mini Swim.

Hundreds of stalls with fresh, local produce, gifts, arts & crafts, fashion, furniture, food stalls, entertainment and even massage and healing stalls.

Our Kids Day Out

Our Kids Day Out is always a great family day out for all. The event is held in Ballina at the amphitheatre and like previous years will be focused on children, especially those who have been in Children’s Ward and Special Care Nursery over the years. Clowns, rides, children shows and food will be there as well as the emergency services for the children. This event is free and is a wonderful family day out.

Byron Bay Triathlon

The 24th Annual Byron Bay Triathlon.

With a reputation for a relaxed, party location and a friendly atmosphere, the Byron Bay Triathlon is one of the nation’s must-do triathlons. The course offers outstanding natural beauty which combines the iconic seaside with the lush hinterland.As the last Olympic race of the Triathlon Australia season, the event is a celebration of the sport and the locale – a memorable and truly ‘Byron’ experience. The Byron Bay Triathlon welcomes children as young as seven years old and offers racing in a variety of distances. Whilst the standard Olympic distance is the most popular race, you can also race in Sprint, Tempta, Teams and Kids events.

Ballina Mother’s Day Classic

The Mother’s Day Classic is an annual event run nationally to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research. Ballina participants can register to run or walk the 4.5 kilometre course and do their own individual fundraising. Four legged friends are also welcome on a lead with prizes for the best dressed, male, female, and pooch.

Bangalow Billy Cart Derby

A fun family day out.  From small kids to big kids alike, this is a favourite event for locals.  Join in, register and build your own Billy Cart to take place in the races down Bangalow main street. This annual event is watched by hundreds of spectators and there’s a great friendly atmosphere.
