Gillies Cottage was built in about 1910 and is a charming weatherboard cottage that was completely renovated in 2000, maintaining its old charm but providing modern day conveniences for your comfort. Upon first entering, the common response is "oh, how cute!"
Beautifully renovated and refurbished, this sweet self-contained cottage has a fresh colour scheme, hand-crafted timber units in the kitchen & bathroom and some wonderful Indian & Australian antique furniture. It sleeps a maximum of 4 people in 2 bedrooms, each with queen-size bed. It is fully equipped with linen & towels provided (BYO beach towels). There is a pretty park directly behind the cottage, giving a leafy outlook from the rear deck. You can enjoy water-dragon & turtle spotting over at the creek! Situated in the heart of the heritage village of Bangalow, the cottage is just a couple of minutes walk to interesting shops & galleries and fabulous cafes & restaurants.
